Fidogig features:

FidoGig is one of the new and upcoming Usenet search engines. The site helps users navigate Usenet without having to search every newsgroup for their topic of interest. The NZB service allows you to search by Subject. In addition to searching by Subject, FidoGig allows you to specify your searches to return filtered search results. You can filter the search by file type, size of the file, age of the NZB file.

You can also only search a specific usenet newsgroup to trim down the number of search results. If you want to do very detailed Usenet searches, you can have the NZB service only return search results with .NFO files. This NZB search engine makes searching even easier by allowing you to easily create an NZB just by clicking on a link in the search result.

Not to be confused for a Usenet provider or newsreader software. Both of which you will need to download from Usenet. Fidogig will help you find what your looking for across millions of newsgroup posts without the need for downloading headers. Along with the search function, you can also browse individual newsgroups.

How to use Fidogig:

Fidogig is very easy to use. Enter the topic of interest in the Usenet search bar provided by the site. Make sure to select any filters to trim down the search. The site will return many results so filtering your searches will help you find the specific file that you are interested in. Once you receive the search results, select the search result that best matches your interests and click “grab.” Doing so will automatically create the NZB file. Depending on the Newsreader that you are using, the NZB file will automatically be opened by the newsreader. This will most likely initiate the download from your Usenet news server.
