NewsGroupDirect recently rolled out a new site design with lots of service updates. To start they now offer customers 350 days of binaries and over 1,200 days of text retention. They further refined account pricing and now offer a free monthly account.
Let's start with the free NGD account. You can download up to 1 GB a month with 4 connections to either their US or European server farm for free. This is great for those who either have an interest in text groups or want to test Newsgroup Direct.

- 50 GB non-expiring block, 20 connextions, SSL - $12.00
