This guide will walk you through setting up SABnzbd+ to work with Giganews servers. If you haven't already signed up for Usenet access then definitely give Giganews a try. Step 1 - Install SABnzbd+
If you haven't already installed SABnzbd then visit the download site and grab the latest distribution. In our case we downloaded SABnzbd-0.4.11-win32-setup.exe and installed the software within a few clicks.
Step 2 - Configure SABnzbd+

The first time you visit the home page:
http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/
a warning will appear stating "No Usenet server defined".
Click on
Config-->Servers to setup your Usenet provider

The Add Server box includes everything you need to get up and running. Simply enter the information as follows:
- Host: enter in news.giganews.com
- Port: use port 563 or 443 for secure connections or port 563, 80 or 23 for standard connections.
- Username and Password: provided in email
- Check SSL if applicable
- Click Add Server
It's that simple to configure SABnzbd+ for Giganews. Enjoy!
