Astraweb Free Usenet Trial

Rather than the free trials offered by other Usenet providers, Astraweb uses a refund policy to allow new users to test the service.  I would think of it as a 24 hour money back guarantee which doesn’t give you much time to test.   Other providers offer a week or two to test their networks.  If you want to test out Astraweb then I suggest you do so quickly after signing up to ensure you don’t have any issues.  If you cancel be prepared to wait for a refund.

Astraweb ReviewHere are the details word for word from their knowledgebase:
– “We do not have a trial period. However, if you are unhappy with our service for any reason, we offer a full refund if you cancel and request a refund within the first 24 hours of sign up.”

To take advantage of the free trial simply click on the “Visit Astraweb” link below and sign up for one of their unlimited plans.  Their message is unclear as to whether or not the refund policy covers block plans. They don’t state either way so if you plan to purchase a block I would recommend contacting their support first.  Realize that they aren’t available on weekends though which can be an issue for some users.

As detailed in their knowledgebase, if you need to cancel for any reson you will want to do so in the first 24 hours and then request a refund.  I will warn you that we’ve had issues with support tickets sitting open without a response for weeks so you might find the refund process to be frustrating.
