Giganews goes for 240 days binary retention
Giganews announced in early July that after their latest storage upgrade they would be increasing their binary retention from 200 days to 240 days by the end of September. They are well on their way to the 240 day mark for binary newsgroups. This is by far the highest retention rate among all premium Usenet providers.
